Day 1 ~ Khao Yai National Park

Leave Bangkok by road and head towards Khao Yai National Park. Designated as Thailand’s first national park, Khao Yai offers the best chance to spot a wild elephant in the entire country. Arrive just in time to watch the spectacular sight of a thousand bats departing their cave, then check in to your hotel.

Day 2 ~ Bangkok

Today will be your opportunity to explore the park in-depth. Considering its relative proximity to Bangkok, the sheer scale of the monsoon rainforest and the diversity of wildlife found here, Khao Yai is a remarkable experience. Dramatic mountain peaks rich with lush green foliage house sambar deer, barking deer, guar, sun bears, gibbons, macaques and even rare tigers and leopards. Follow one of the many trails and spot wildlife, learn about the jungle’s flora and fauna, and enjoy the natural beauty. Return to your resort for some free time before you head out on a night drive to spot shy creatures such as the porcupine, deer and wild cats. Your guide will use a spotlight to point out wildlife grazing in the park.

Day 3 ~ Visit the local Gran Monte Winery.

After a morning at leisure return to Bangkok by road, stopping en route to visit the local Gran Monte Winery.
