Lao Visa Costs by Country

Applicants for visas on arrival in Laos have recently been subject to a new price scale that fluctuates depending on each tourist’s nationality. Australian and New Zealand passport holders are now charged $30USD, UK and USA passport holders are charged $35USD, and Canadian passport holders must pay $42USD for their visas. The Lao government has not issued any statements as to why the change (and sliding scale) has been implemented.
