In the afternoon explore the surrounding jungle on the back of an elephant, then return to town for sunset from Mount Phou Si. Day 3 ~ See robed Buddhist monks collecting alms![]() Rise early to see robed Buddhist monks collecting alms at dawn. Follow this with a swim at the Kuang Si Falls. On your return to Luang Prabang stop to visit a H’mong hilltribe village and learn about their culture and history. The afternoon is free for shopping or simply wandering. Day 4 ~ Explore more of Luang Prabang's gilded temples![]() Take today at leisure to explore more of Luang Prabang’s gilded temples, marvellous cafés and boutiques, and take in the Mekong scenery. Day 5 ~ Travel up the Mekong River to the 'Cave of 1,000 Buddhas'![]() Travel up the Mekong River to the ‘Cave of 1,000 Buddhas,’ then continue to the Kamu Ecolodge.
