THE SCOOP
Built in a bungalow style right on the beach, the Victoria Phan Thiet Resort encompasses luxury and comfort in its design, facilities and attentive staff. With a large range of entertainment options there is no need to leave the resort. On occasions, the ocean water can be slightly polluted by nearby fishing boats, but the resort’s swimming pool is the ideal alternative.

THE LOCATION
The resort is located on the beach at Phan Thiet, close to Mui Ne beach and township. The area is very quiet with a limited amount of activities on offer, but you can enjoy the resort’s beach facilities or take a ride in the countryside to visit some of the region’s sites. The Saigon airport is 200km away (approximately 3½ hours by car).

THE GOODS
Rooms: All 50 guest rooms feature Vietnamese bungalow-style architecture with air-conditioning, IDD telephone, satellite TV, mini-bar and in-room safe. The room décor incorporates modern Vietnamese designs with timber and terracotta flooring and timber furniture.

Our Preferred Room: The 18 Beach Front Bungalows offer easy access to the beach, and together with the 6 Beach Front Family Bungalows, are the hotel’s best rooms by far.

Restaurants: There are two restaurants at the Victoria Phan Thiet Resort, as well as four bars. L’Oceane Restaurant overlooks the sea and offers European and Vietnamese cuisine, specialising in seafood and offering a substantial buffet breakfast. BBQ Corner serves lighter meals and charcoal grills. Bars include a swim-up pool bar, a beach-front bar, a terrace bar and a late-night entertainment venue.

Facilities: The resort offers a swimming pool, mountain bike hire, beach sports (waterskiing, windsurfing, banana boat trips and boogie boards), a fitness centre, tennis court, access to a nearby golf course, saunas and massage rooms.

Business Travellers: A small conference/meeting room is available for business travellers and holds up to 20 guests. The facility contains the usual array of audio-visual equipment. The business centre offers a full range of secretarial and support services.

THE POOL
The resort has two swimming pools surrounded by palm trees and both are close to the beach.

THE FAMILY
The Family Bungalows are spacious at 48 square metres and contain a double bed and living room with convertible sofa. The resort’s Mini Club Team is pleased to welcome your child from 9am to 9pm, and features a special outdoor children’s area with activities. A special kid’s buffet is available for lunch & dinner.
