Days 1 - 2 ~ Arrive in Guilin and transfer to your hotel

Arrive in Guilin and transfer to your hotel. The following day, head to Longsheng and explore some of China’s beautiful rural countryside. Wander through the maze of little stone pathways and traditional wooden houses on stilts of a White Yao village, and hike further up the mountain to admire some of China’s most spectacular rice terrace scenery. In the evening take a walking tour of Guilin’s town square, which comes alive with fountain shows, lighting displays and a bustling night market.

Day 3 ~ Longsheng

Visit the truly remarkable Army of Terracotta Warriors – one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the 20th Century. Designed to defend Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s tomb in the afterlife, each figure is completely unique in both facial features and general expression. This afternoon take a stroll down atmospheric Calligraphy Lane. The next day your stay in Xian ends with your airport transfer.

Day 4 ~ Li River

Start the day with a Tai Chi lesson, then head out into Yangshuo’s beautiful countryside on a bicycle. Explore local villages, rice paddies, lotus fields and fish farms on local tracks and enjoy amazing, bucolic images of local life. Stop for a traditional farmer’s lunch in the countryside before returning to town for a free evening.

Day 5 ~ Depart Yangshuo

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
